Gold Leaf Hotel Of Dewey - Dewey Beach

The hotel was located adjacent to many restaurants, and trolley to town and boardwalk. It had central location close to Dewey Beach Parasail. They offered beautiful and new-fashioned rooms with a balcony, 3 double beds and a bathtub.

Units with a balcony. The breakfast had lots of options, eggs and hot waffles.

The location was great, near the beach and the trolley to Rehoboth beach. the room was clean, comfortable and everything was in working order. The common areas were surprisingly dirty, the breakfast area was dirty. The food was not replenished on a timely basis. Another reviewer mentioned the digs on the beach. We had the same problem, dogs running wild on the beach, the owners oblivious to the beachgoers, I wish the Dewey beach regulators would do something about this. This hotel could be five stars with a little bit of investment, clean the hall carpets, get better pool furniture, puts some plants around so soften the look, better breakfast , it's a 3 star right now.

Dirty common areas, breakfast not replenished quickly.

Great beach side location, Son liked the little gym. Roof top pool was lovely. Nula bar opposite was great for drinks and food. Mexican over the Road was great had a nice meal on the sandy beach. Rehoboth Beach was about a mile walk or $2.50 each was on a yellow jolly trolley. Nice to visit but very busy in a quaint upmarket sort of way

Location - comfort

No remote for tv in room - req remote 5x but they only had a universal remote and they didn't know how to set it up.............................also the pool was disquisting! Couldn't swim in it ...was the dirtiest pool I have ever been to. I would still come back just because of the location

Nice Staff. Hotel is right by the beach. Love the parking garage 'inside' the hotel - vehicle is out of the weather. A lot of good places to eat within walking distance. Shuttle for Rehoboth beach/boardwalk was right across the street. Very quiet for the main drag being right outside our door.

The 'balcony' was not a balcony. You open the doors in the room and there's a railing. It would have been nice to sit outside while our little one took a nap. Bathroom had a very bad musty smell - the houskeeping staff did spray some air freshener, but we had to keep the exhaust fan on 24/7 to keep it smelling decent.

The advertised rate the night before my trip was $20.00 less than what I paid.

The rooftop pool was a highlight with fantastic views and a perfect spot to relax. Our room was spacious with a nice touch, as they neatly arranged our stuffed animals. Although the breakfast could be better, it was still a fun stay overall!

Marvelous location - just what a beach resort should offer - even a room with a view of the ocean; extremely helpful & pleasant staff - worthy of a '5-star' hotel; and terrific value. Altogether only wish I could have stayed longer and been with a romantic rather than family friend for walks on the beach, just steps away, and romantic dinners at the great nearby restaurants just across the ocean highway.

The hotel was very clean and updated and the staff was very friendly. I would love to stay there again.

Tried out Nalu Dewey Beach, and the smoked fish tacos were out of this world! Plus, the staff? Super friendly. The pool up on the roof was a refreshing bonus too!

Okay, so the towels were doing their best but lacked a bit of oomph, and the furniture could really use some love-like a makeover or something.

I had the best time unwinding at this place! The rooftop pool was my favorite spot to soak up the sun while enjoying an amazing view of the beach just a short walk away. Plus, the staff were really good too.
